How to disable Multitasking and..
hi guys i have a iphone 3G on 4.0 and it runs very slow and laggy so the only reason i can think of is its because of multitasking and user background so is there any way i can disable those?

Try this: Uncheck the search options in Spotlight (Settings/General/Spotlight). This has been reported as causing significant slowdowns.

Multitasking as well as homescreen backgrounds can be disabled if your device is jailbroken. I'll make a tut tomorrow.

Here's what i found:
Use iFile or connect to your iPhone or Ipod using iFun or similar. Go into ifile system/library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app and search N88AP.plist (for iPhone) or N18AP.plist (for Ipod Touch 3G) enter and find for multitasking edit true for false.
For the wallpaper, i don't have that info. Hope it works for you.___
