    Default Downgrade Question

    Hi, I have a JB/Unlocked 3G running 4.0 with the 5.13.04 baseband.

I'm one of the people experiencing sluggish response time with the 4.0 upgrade, and I would like to go back to the previous version, 3.1.3.

Can I downgrade just by downloading that firmware version and doing a "shift/restore" option, or do I have to get into all of this SHSH stuff I've been reading about?

    thanks for any help.

You do not need shsh to downgrade to 3.1.3. Yes , you can downgrade to 3.1.3 however, you will encounter error 1015, you can use Tiny Umbrella to kick you out of recovery mode.

Thanks again, Yeow202. I did downgrade my 3G from 4.0.1 to 3.1.3 successfully
