I have a 2g Iphone that has 3.1.3 firmware. I have jailbroken this many times but every time I use blackra1n or any other cydia app too unlock my iphone after I install it and it reboots my iphone freezes in the boot screen and will NOT load. It just keeps showing the apple logo until I force it too restart and then it just freezes up again in the boot screen. So far I restored it and jailbroke it. Is there any possible way too unlock it without this problem?
Firstly, blackra1n dont work on 3.1.3. Secondly, are you trying to jailbreak? Cuz you said unlock and thats different. Lastly, you should restore and use Redsn0w 0.9.4 (not any other version). If you restore to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2, on Redsn0w it will ask you only for the 3.1.2 ipsw so dont use 3.1.3 ipsw there.
If you want to unlock, use Ultrasn0w from Cydia.
