3G 3.1.2 unlock won't work!! 5.11.07

3.1.2
5.11.07 modem firmware

JB using blackra1n
Tried
- installing snow through blackra1n app
- tried installing blacksnow through cydia
- uninstalled blacksnow and tried ultrasn0w

all install but when I put in my gf's t-mobile SIM into the iphone it
search's for a network
then says "Could not activate cellular data network"
and then finally it says "locked sim"

I've tried hard rebooting and reseting network settings many of times and everytime it comes back with "locked sim"

is it the SIM? the SIM card works fine in her tmobile blackberry...

i do get some refressh and bzip2 errors when installing blacksnow or ultrasn0w but they both do install after i hit ok to those errors

what do i do?

Use redsn0w and unlock with ultrasn0w in cydia

Also make sure 3g is off.

why use redsno0w....just use spirit way faster and turn 3g off if ur in the us and it should work unlock with ultrasn0w ofcourse

3G is turned off though = / ...it wasn't when i first "unlocked" it but after i did i turned 3G off

Now, do i restore back to a factory 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 and re-jailbreak? If so, how do i rollback to those versions?

Otherwise just jailbreak over the jailbreak again? I did do that but with blackra1n...

whats the sim ur trying rite now ...if i were u ...i would try a different sim ..borrow from ur friend on someone and see if that works

haven't been able to track down a non at&t/verizon person with a regular nonmicro sim = /


so do i have to restore back to factory 3.1.2/3 and re-jb/unlock?
