unlock 3gs downgraded from 4.0.1 to 3.1.3 legit

Hello, I have a 3gs 32 in 3.1.3 legit unactivated, and locked to foreign operator.

Model: MC134NF/A
Baseband: 05.13.04 - 6.4_M3S2

Will a spirit jb + cydia/ultrasnow unlock work?
Do i need to activate before?

im not sure how to help you but i love if you could tell me how you did downgrade

Hello,
I downgraded from 4.0.1 legit to 3.1.3 legit thanks to shsh files that were saved on cydia server.

I had to fake windows dns of gs.apple.com to cydia server ip adress in hosts files (you can find help about that on this forum)

Then I downloaded legit 3.1.3 firmware, and plugged iPhone in restore mode.

Pressing shift while clicking Restore button in iTunes, I just chose the firmware i had downloaded.

It ended with a 1015 error and the iphone was stuck in a restoration loop.

I ran RecBoot and was able to quit the restore mode.

Now I was back to 3.1.3 legit, unactivated.
And I saved those shsh files locally by precaution using tinyumbrella...

Yes. Spirit and ultrasn0w will jailbreak and unlock your phone. As long as you have the official carrier of the phone's SIM to activate to run Spirit. You may also use a phonebook SIM if that isnt readily available. You could also try Sn0wbreeze instead of Spirit if youre running the old bootrom.

Unfortunately you cannot use SPIRIT unless the phone is activated for the 3GS there is presently no Hactivation so you need original
carrier SIM. It does not have to be a working SIM it could be old inactive one, or pay and go one.
