How to unlock iphone 3gs 5.13.04 , 6.4 , 3.1.3

Hello mates,
i've tried to upgrade my phone to 4.0 using the sn0wbreeze but suddently it stucked at restore mode. i had to upgrade it to 4.0.1 via itunes and revert it back to 3.1.3 as my shsh was backed up.
now i ended up with 5.13.04 , 6.4 , 3.1.3
i'm not able to open the phone as it is always stuck at emergency calls only. is there a way to fix this? what do i have to do? it's my wife's phone and she's killing me

First you need to activate the phone either with the original sim card or a phonebook sim card. Once activated you can use spirit on it to jailbreak it again. Make sure before using spirit you either downgrade iTunes to 9.1 or find the spirit that was fixed for iTunes 9.2

I have an old AT&T Sim card. i'm not in the states and i'm on illegal carrier as the phone is locked for AT&T. i will try this method and let you know.....

Just use Ispirit to JAilbreak it ! it will activate Automatically through it if ur not on AT&T sim

i mean even it will activate it anyway

ok so let me get this strait i am currently running a 3gs 3.1.3 wit 05.12.01 MC model jail-broken with Spirit and unlocked with ultrasn0w
this phone was orianly on 3.1.3 wen purchased

Go to the guides (on this site) select How to jailbreak 3GS with 4.0 firmware... then follow the instructions.

Since you are JB with spirit then you can't go to 4.0 using official tools.

Unless of course you can get back to 3.1.2

use a programme to jailbreak it that activates it as for unlocking it i'm not sure as i've tried many soloutions on my 3g

I think you might be at the recovery screen. Once you go so far forwArd the iPhone doesn't like going back. If none of the above worked. Did you use recboot?
The recovery screen doesn't have emergency slide option....
