    Default Activation in India with an iPhone from the US

    I have a 3gs new bootrom and I've bought it from the US and am using it in India on 3.1.2 JBen and unlocked. Now with the latest iOS 4 to activate my phone I don't have an AT&T sim here since AT&T stopped existing here in 2005. What should I do? I know hacktivation is one option but is there anything else that I could do?

    or

    activate with the official carrier sim.

    Unfortunately those are the only two ways.

    I am in mumbai, i hv an at&t sim, i can activate it for u, but unfortunately u wont be able to unlock it now.
    If u hv shsh blobs saved, u should downgrade to 3.1.2 so atleast u can use the phone.
