Can iPhone 3GS 4.0 be unlocked?

I have an iphone 4.0 3gs, running on a stock 4.0 firmware, it is not jailbroken.
Can it be unlocked?

Nope, there is no jailbreak yet and therefore you can't unlock.

I think yeow202 misread your post and thinks you have an iPhone 4 and not a 3gs on 4.0. If your phone hasn't been jailbroke before on 3.1.2 and you saved your shsh blobs then you can't currently jailbreak your phone and therefore cannot unlock it.

OK my question is, if update my itunes and my ipod is runin the ver. 4 can I update my iphone and unlocked? The Iphone is already unlocked and runing 3.1.3

If you have the old bootrom, you can use the Spirit2pwn method and restore to a custom firmware.
If you have the new bootrom and if you can downgrade to 3.1.2, you can download Snowbreeze 1.7 to jailbreak at iOS 4.0.
