iphone problem

i have iphone 2g with 3.1 2 firm ware i updated it with 3.1.3 after that the iphone is in not in use. it showas only emergency calls allowed, but i can make calls i cant do anything other than that

please help

Sounds like you need to activate your phone. You need a sim card from your carrier.

thanks for your reply i have put a sim card after that i can make and recive calls but no other actions allowed. if u know how to over come this plese send me detailed reply

Once you put the sim card in did you connect the phone to itunes?

yes i connected i tunes then message showing sim card inserted is does not appear to be supported

1. If you have att oficial sin card just put it on the iphone and connect it to itunes and wait a few seconds for the iphone to be actived.
2. If you don't have the oficial sin card well thats a problem you need to hackactive your iphone by using Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool
