    Correct

    Spirit is supposed to work with 9.2

    Maybe someone can tell me what Im doing wrong because when i downloaded the 3.1.3 firmware it downloaded as a zip file so when i unzip it i cant find the ipsw file...

    Just change the file extension to ipsw

    You trust anything that site says? I certainly don't. They post so much rubbish and wrong advice I certainly wouldn't use anything they recommend.
    Comex says spirit does not work with 9.2 - and I do trust him.

    You are right.

    Sounds like he's downgraded iTunes anyway. Certainly the safest bet.
