3GS, new bootrom, 05.13.04 baseband, iOS4, no SHSH blobs - am I stuck?

Hey all,

I lost my jailbroken/unlocked 3G iphone and bought a 3GS off of a friend who was upgrading to the iphone 4. I'm on Tmobile and he was on AT&T, so the 3GS phone was never jailbroken nor unlocked.

So now I'm trying to unlock/jailbreak the 3GS phone and after all the reading I've done, I'm pretty sure I'm stuck and just have to wait until the new jailbreak is released because 1) I can't downgrade since there are no saved SHSH blogs on cydia for my phone and 2) I can't jailbreak/unlock because of the new bootrom. Can anybody confirm or point me in the right direction?

Here's the info of the 3GS I received from my friend:

3GS
NEW bootrom
05.14.03 baseband
was running iOS4 when my friend was using it
no SHSH blobs stored (my friend never jailbroke or unlocked the phone)

currently I have iTunes 9.2 installed on my computer

I have a similar situation except, I have the old bootrom but no SHSH blobs saved. Am I stuck as well?

That won't work - I have neither the SHSH blobs for 3.1.2 nor 3.1.2 installed on my phone. It came with iOS4.

I am in the same situation it is really annoying. Not to mention Dev said that they have completed the jailbrake but are not releasing it yet??????????????????????? CAN someone post back up here if they find anything or when it comes out?
