If your Iphone is jailbroken, you must have Cydia, do a search from Cydia and install Ultrsn0w from Bigboss repo.

yes i have cydia and i already installed ultrasnow but now my phone is not getting service?
just restarted and got service back so i guess that means i unlocked it right?

Check again your Ultrasn0w, is it version 0.9.3, it should work , reboot your iphone . Or add this repo :

Having same issues have you tried blacksn0w ? I can't as yet as the wifi at my girlfriends is very tempermetal

Weird should work try resetting network settings.

Try using redsn0w, or better yet restore to ios4, and unlock on that

Doing a network reset risks you to put your phone in an infinite reboot mode.
