3GS 3.1.2 Spirit Jailbreak, then ultrasnow unlock?

Hi,

I currently have following:

3GS
3.1.2 (7d11)
05.11.07 Baseband
new bootrom 359.3.2
SHSHs saved on Cydia
Tethered Jailbreak using Blackra1n and using Tmobile SIM.

Thinking about doing the following:

Restore to 3.1.2 using Shift-Restore and Saurik Server
Use ATT sim to activate. (borrow SIM out of Bro's Iphone on ATT)
Use Spirit to Jailbreak
Use Ultrasnow to unlock.

Possible?

i am hoping this will result in untethered jailbreak or does new bootrom prevent that from happening?

No the Spirit jailbreak is untethered.

HI I am looking into doing the same,but my concern is I don't have my shsh saved.Will this block me from upgrading to 3.1.3 (I'm On 3.1.2) Blacksn0w will simply not run.My phone is askin me to connect to iTunes

What do you mean by Blacksn0w will not simply run ? Blacksn0w is an unlock tool. Blacksn0wRC2 will perform better if you are talking about unlock. If you are jailbroken by Blackra1n at 3.1.2and having untethered jailbreak, then you can use cfw to go to iOS 4.0.
I am just guessing a question to answer.
If you guys wants a definitive answer, please put forward a clear and concise question, otherwise it will not be answered correctly.

you need to be clear about your current setup.

1) was phone jailbroken before using Blackrain?

if so, it could be a tethered jailbreak so connect phone to computer and ignore itunes request to restore and rerun blackrain and its should restart phone again.

Why won't blackrain run? are you getting error message when trying to run blackrain program on your computer?
