iPhone 3G 05.12.01 running 3.1.3 won't unlock

Hey guys, I jailbroke using Pwnage Tool and everything seems okay but when I unlock using ultrasn0w 3.1.3 i just get "No Service" in the top left corner of my phone. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've tried to re-install ultrasn0w, upgrade to 4.0 and unlock, do it with SIM card in, SIM card out, 3G on, 3G off, reset network settings and nothing seems to work. The phone is locked to Rogers wireless but I am trying to use it with Fido.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Try restoring to stock 4.0, then using redsn0w to jailbreak, and ultrasn0w to unlock

try this link to unlocked the BB 5.12.01, just working great for me and few my friends. pls note here some iphone is not jailbreak by using snowbreeze 3.1.3, so try use redsnow and it will done in few min. hope this will help all of iphone users.

i've already tried unlocking with ultrasn0w many times but I always get "searching..." and the "no service" when I insert a sim card. I can't believe we are the only 2 out there who are having this problem...

I'm having the same issue as well on two different 3GS's w/ 3.1.3 and 5.12.01 basebands on both phones.
Jailbroken w/ Spirit and installed ultrasn0w but nothing

I have the same problem. I have a 3gs 3.1.3 old bootrom 5.12.01 and JB with spirit. Installed ultrasnow and it wont unlock. Anyone figure this out yet?

alrite guyz, try to downgrade the firmware to 3.1.2 using redsnow and then jailbreak it. then by using ultrasnow, it will work nicely. i do have this problem earlier when using 3.1.3 and JB with snowbreeze. later i downgrade to 3.1.2 and the unit work fine..anyway who cares abt the firmware as long as i can use back my iphone after 4 months dead.

I have a 3g/redsn0w/ultrasn0w/4.0 and I get no service. I get service for a minute then no service. Is ther. Any solution yet?

But I don't have the SHSH files for 3.1.2 because my phone has been on 3.1.3 since I bought it.
Is there any other way around this instead of downgrading to 3.1.2? thanks for your help
