Unlock/Jailbreak in Ebay. Should I buy it?

Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS just upgraded to fw 4.0 and I need to use my T-Mobile sim card with it. This phone isn't jailbroken or unlocked so I'm not able to use it.

There are products in EBay offering to unlock and jailbreak iPhones 3GS 4.0. Does anybody have experience with these services? Should I buy it?

don't fall into those traps. wait a couple of days and there will be a jailbreak available i bet.

you can try using pwnage tool 4.01. keeps failing for me but you can give it a try

Never buy ANYTHING for unlocking when the dev team gives you this stuff for free, if you want you can pay me to link you to the articles =D

Lol you don't know what you are talking about. Re-Read the bottom of the OP. They can't downgrade so they cannot go down to 3.1.2 to use a custom firmware to upgrade back to. You can only use custom firmwares to jailbreak at the moment. And to do that you have to come from an already pwn'd device. which they are not anymore.

-Don't buy things from EBay since they will be free from the Dev Team or other teams working on these issues.

-There is no jailbreak for iOS 4.0 yet (so that, no unlock)

-People have tried to solve the problem I presented using pwnage tool 4.01. but without good results.

-Therefore, just sit and wait.
