Iphone 3g with turbo sim

Hi was hoping if some one could tell me if i can use a turbo sim on a 3g iphone with the latest itunes os?

What firmware and baseband are you on?

Turbo SIMs dont work on the new firmwares (I believe 3.0 and up) and they dont work well either.

You wanna upgrade to 4.0 and use redsn0w to jailbreak then ultrasn0w to unlock.

Be advised, do some research on upgrading to 4.0 and how to use redsn0w and ultrasn0w. The dev-team's blog is the best place to go.
