iphone 3GS jailbreak and unlock

I am running IOS4 on my 3gs can I jailbreak and possibly unlock this phone yet?

You can unlock 4.0 but as for jailbreak I'm not sure, dev team is kinda working in reverse order but oh well, stay tuned

You can't unlock without jailbreaking first. You can't jailbreak either because you are at stock fw iOS 4.0

you can jailbreak using pwnage 4.01 once jailbroken you can unlock. depends if your phone has new or old boot. if old then youre good

Why not? I upgraded to 4.0 on my 3GS last night using pwnage tool 4.01 and then unlocked it with ultrasn0w.

I am not really sure about the 3GS since I don't have one to try. But my iPhone 3G is running stock firmware iOS4.0 and I jailbreak-ed it using RedSn0w 9.5 Beta. Then I unlocked using ultrasn0w 0.93. Give it a shot, it might work.
