iPhone 3G Help
I currently have a iPhone 3G:
3.1.3(7E18) Firmware
5.12.01 Model Firmware
it's been sitting on my desk for quite some time now. I activated it using an old ATT simcard lying around. I hadn't jailbroken or unlocked it yet. I'm hoping i can use this for tmobile. is it possible now?

yes upgrade to 4.0, use redsn0w to jailbreak and ultrasn0w to unlock

do i still need to activate it?
and its that simple? no need to other things? cause this 3g was on ATT and i upgraded to 3.1.3 on itunes.

So I just upgraded to 4.0 on my 3g and whenever I use redsn0w it gets to the part where it says "waiting for reboot" but then hangs from there.
Whenever I use sn0wbreeze itunes will always end with an error.
help?
