is there a jailbreak and/or unlock for the iPhone 4?

okay and also,
i just put my friend's activated microSIM from his iPhone 4 in my iPhone 4 to try and bypass the activation screen, and it just said no service and i couldnt bypass it

how do you do that?

Try it again but plug it into the computer and open iTunes dint sync nithing
