multitasking stops working

Hi all,
after upgrading to ios4 on my iphone then JB & unlock...my multitasking stopped working. Everything was working great. I was able to listen to music and use safari or send sms at the same time. But now when i listen to music and try something else it quits the music before opening something else.

Any ideas?

Maybe I'm missing something, but weren't we all able to do those three things together before 4.0 anyway?

actually i was never able to do more than 1 thing at a time...i've has 2 iphones...this is my 3rd. when i first installed ios 4 and then JB and unlocked... i was then able to do more than 1 thing at the same time. it was great... but it only lasted a day... now i can only do 1 thing at a time again. i've tried rebooting with no luck

That's really weird. I've been able to listen to music and bounce between Safari and texting while the music still plays on both my phones for as long as I've had them.

ohno...that means i've been doing something wrong all this time.

any idea what i can do to fix this?

My 3G is on 3.1.3 with 05.21.01, jailbroken with Spirit and unlocked with Ultrasn0w.

I haven't tried putting it on iOS 4 yet so outside of giving you my stats and saying it works fine, I'm not sure what else to tell you to do. Have you backed up and done a complete restore?
