Default Is it possible for me to downgrade to 3.1.3 without shsh?

i recently upgraded my 3g to 4.0, but its running really slow and i wanna go back to 3.1.3, but I don't have an shsh on file (not exactly sure what this is, but some people said i need it to downgrade). I also need to activate/unlock it for t-mobile. is there anyway i can do this?

You can just downgrade to 3.1.3 if you like, your iphone doesn't require shsh on file with Cydia. However, you will encounter error 1015, when that happens, you need irecovery or rslite to get you out of the recovery loop.
