How can Ultrsn0w stuck at emergency screen. You cannot get Ultrasn0w from Emergency Screen. What you need is hactivation or an official sim card to activate first before proceeding.

I DO have the official sim card and as far as I know it has been activated. Can I reactivate how?

I got ultrasn0w through cydia.

I'm trying to restore right now to "reactivate" but I get error 3014 from iTunes.

well i managed to restore....

now i am unable to activate 3.1.3!!! Aparently my official carrier sim is not official????? Did they screw up at the factory?!

anyways im going to try and load an "activated" 3.1.3 and spirit it and then ultrasn0w .93 it.

Are you in the us? only active SIM is active apple carrier (AT&T) in US. if you have T-mobile or not offical carrier you need to hacktivate

Having an official carrier SIM card is not enough.. it has to be an ACTIVE official carrer SIM card in order to activate.

Im using 3gs fw 3.1.3 BB 5.12.01 BL 6.4, jbed by spirit, unlocked w ultrasn0w - cause insert different sim, it shows the signal n carrier's name - BUT stuck at Emergency call n when connected phone to itune - the itune appears message about Not support sim to active.

I put original sim, it's ok but put another, it shows "Different SIM Detected"

I assume you need to get an active sim by purchasing a plan... unless of course you hacktivate. That could be the easiest method (by using PwnageTool for example to hactivate). If you have a problem with push not working after hacktivation, get "PushDoctor" from Cydia.

wow, just wow...Can't find the ACTIVE official carrier sim card but Im really happy now. I really dont know why but Just went to settings> turned off air plane mode then inserted the new sim> clicked to carrier area> it's searching and wow the signal bar, carrier's name appears BUT no stuck in emergency call anymore.

Frig I have a brick now 1500km from the nearest apple store. I DO have an active roaming plan right now and my SIM works in other unlocked phones.. Why the heck can't it activate it?

None of the hacktivated 3.1.3 FW's are loading (it seems to skip the "verifying with apple servers" part the official firmware has and goes straight to "preparing to restore iphone" and hangs.. it's throwing 1600, 1604 etc. error's in iTunes. It's on baseband 5.12.01 and iboot 6.4.

Please help anyone
