Cydia always says ultrasnow has an update

You need to update the Mobile Substrate and it will all work fine. This happened to me yesterday all day long. Late at night I got Cydia alert asking for a Mobile Substrate update and after the update phone started working like a charm...

Do a google search for Mobile Substrate update if Cydia is not asking you to update... Its all about the MS update...

Yea the mobile substrate .... My unlock was working without that ... Maybe u need to uninstall ultrasnow and the re install it ... The mobile substrate is for winterboard and idk what else but I don't think it's for the unlock or else musclenerd woulve said oh yeah guys don't forget to update your mobile substrate .... I jailbroke with Spirit.
And updating mobile substrate still didnt work.
Im trying to unlock for Centennial Wireless.


And Ive also uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times

But the first time you install ultrsnow it worked?if u used blackra1n to boot then ran spirit that probably messed with the jailbreak. U have to but using quickpawn because blackrain is a jailbreak tool not just a boot tool maybe that might help

Hey! i have a 3G on ios 4.0, modem firmware 5.13.04 and its unlocked with ultrasn0w. something must have gone wrong when you jailbroke your iPhone.

Well to get rid of the cydia tell me there is an update I went to the ultrasn0w app then pressed on the changes then switched it to yes show changes and that pretty much got rid of the pesky 1 icon on cydia.

So should I restore back to 3.1.3 again?
If i do i will get error 1015
And i will be forced to use blackra1n to kick it out of error mode.

That's exactly what I did then I jailbreaked with spirit but my iTunes was on 9.1 you unlocked already right? I think I saw another post by you today that said you were

I was unlocked back before i upgraded to 3.1.3
Then i went up to 4.0 for a little but.
now im back on 3.1.3 with 5.13 baseband.


And i used quickpwn to kick out of recover btw,
and it still does the same thing.
But the weird thing is,
Is it still makes the alert of having a new voicemail after I put my sim it.
and it puts the red dot over my phone.
So therefore,
It is connecting to the network,

im not too sure... this is very weird that something like that happened to you? i mean the unlock is out for every baseband there shouldnt be any problem... this is making me very weary not to update to 4.0 again have you checked out the new post under news?

Im pretty sure mine is a hardware issue.
But since your having the same probably,
maybe not.

It Coudl be an installed package that may be affecting the unlock,,, i reinstalled mines too because i saw it on cydia but it still worked after that
