Selling 3GS how to delete personal data and preserve unlock
I have a 3GS unlocked using blackra1n. It is running 3.12 with base band 5.11.07
I have sold the phone and will ship it on 6/25, the day after my Iphone 4 arrives from Apple (hopefully!)
So is there way to delete personal data, contacts, and photos and not screw up the unlock?
I think Cydia has two apps that might help. Iwipe and another that erases contacts called erase contacts. I wonder if in Itunes I deselect all photo folders and apps, Sync, and then delete all contacts with erase contacts ap and then run Iwipe if I will have cleaned up my phone enough to sell it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
In case it helps, I do have the SHSHs on file in CydiaLast edited by brush; 06-19-2010 at 02:10 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

If you have your blobs then just restore to 3.12 and unlock again - if the unlock for 4.0 hasn't been released by then.

Thanks Confucious. Could you do me a huge favor a give me the steps to do that? I'd hate to loose the ability to unlock. Thanks

You sold pretty cheap. 32 gig for 435 you sold too low. If it were me selling a 32 in great shape with the old bootrom i'd have held for a minimum of $550.
