[HELP] iphone update now signal loss

Hi i bought a iphone of a friend after having a ipod touch that is jailbroken for a while after jailbreaking the iphone succssefully the iphone kept shutting down due signal loss for some reason but because of this i could not start it back up without jailbreaking it again,

after deciding i didnt really need the jailbreak i updated the iphone hoping this would solve it and it has but now i get no signal so i restored it again now it cant activte the sim and still get no signal help?

Umm...didn't you need the unlock then? is orange the official carrier of that phone you have?

Yeah orange is the carrier of the phone and the network i am on is orange i seem to get signal now just lose's it dead easy

Did you jailbreak it again? If so, with what tool?

after updating no i didnt jailbreak again jsut left it

if it's not jailbroken, and not unlocked, is on an official firmware and with the official carrier... Take it back to Orange and get a warranty repair.
