some other ways to unlock 3gs 3.1.3 / downgrade 5.12 baseband ?

I would like to ask if anyone has tried the following sequences to unlock ?

1.firmware spoofing by entering to the iphone ssh / other file manager and change /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist to 3.0 version (or earlier) , then try to update to 3.1.2 .

2. Edit the 3.1.3 ipsw file as Zip file , and copy the \firmware\all_flash\LLB.n88ap.RELEASE.img3 from 3.1.2 / 3.0 ipsw file , then try in DFU mode flash to 3.1.3 .

Can some of this work or some other varitations ?

its going to for sure brick your phone. If you want to give it a shot, go fr it but I wouldn't recommend it.

Messing with the firmware wont get you an unlock. Now if you wanna toy around like this, look into the baseband.

Maybe change the baseband but trick the version so it upgrades but it's actually a downgrade.
