I have a iphone 2G. 8GB . i currenltly have os 3.0 on it. is there any way i can upgrade it to 3.1.
and unlock & jailbreak it?

i just don't know how. if so please help me.

my friend has a iphone 3gs with 3.1/3.2 , when he always turn off his phone its automatically gets locked.

will this happen to MY 2G if i upgrade it.

You will not have the issue as your friend, yours is 2G , his is 3GS , different hardware.

From the link : you have to download : Redsnow 0.9.4, 2G 3.1.2 ipsw, 3.1.3 ipsw, Bootloader 3.9 and 4.6.

Yes, it is the latest 3.1.3 and the last version apple will support

Do you know hackulo's App sync, ? After upgrading to 3.1 can i still install that patch from cydia...

because its only has 3.1,3.2,4.0 on it..
