Quick unlocking question

Since the dev team is soon gonna be releasing the 3.1.3 unlock,
is it possible i could downgrade from my 4.0 beta to 3.1.3 and unlock when it comes out?

Or am i screwed until the 4.0 unlock comes out?

which is baseband 5.13.04 i believe

You can't downgrade your BB

If the unlock is for BB 05.12... then you are screwed because your BB is 05.13...Maybe wait another 6 months..LOL for another unlock other than the coming ones
If the unlock is for BB 05.13..., then you will be alright and you are ahead of the game.

Not sure, hopefully it will be the BB 05.13... like they did on Iphone 3GS

they'll NEVER release a unlock for an old firmware... if they are going to release anything, they will release an unlock for the latest available firmware, no matter what the baseband will be.

and the bootloader has nothing to do with the baseband unlock right?

To unlock you first need to JB. The bootloader meant that some JBs were tethered. We shall have to see what the future brings.

Help!! I bought a Iphone 3gs 32gb running beta 4.0 5.13.04..any ideas when that will be able to be jailbroke and unlocked for t-mobile? hate to sell it. Thanks all

The unlock will be for the new baseband 5.13.04 which is why we will have to upgrade to ios4 if this firmware (official release) doesn't change from the gm seed. But according to the dev team a jailbreak and a unlock will be released for ios 4 not for 3.1.3 So be happy unlocks for everyone and don't rush to update on Monday unless musclenerds or dev team says it's safe I'm running the ios4 gm seed and looking forward to an unlock too so b patient
