Unlock 3Gs 3.1 05.11.07, which software?

Hi,

I am trying to work out which software to use to unlock my iphone.

Please point me towards the relevant thread, I've been searching but nothing exact found yet.

I have just bought an iphone 3gs with 3.1 FW and 05.11.07 baseband. The previous owner has Cydia installed so I guess it is jailbroken (however it only has 3.1.3 SHSHs on file).

I have tried running blacksn0w with no luck (is that only for 3.1.2?)

Most guides tell you to restore to 3.1.2 - which I clearly can't do.

Should I uninstall blackra1n/sn0w and use another unlock software or am I doing something wrong with blacksn0w?

You definitely have the old bootrom, you can use Custom Firmware to restore and remember to use Blacksn0wRC2 to unlock ( A better unlock ).
Since you are already jailbroken with Blackra1n, you can create CFW of 3.1.3 from Pwnage Tools or SnowBreeze and restore to the CFW you created and then add this to your Cydia repo : Cydia.pushfix.info to unlock with Blacksn0wRC2.
