Not really news. Every knows they have an exploit for the baseband. And that they planned on saving it for 4.0 since it is obvious that Apple is changing the baseband by looking at the beta.

The baseband is upgraded to 5.13.01 in the beta so the exploit will actually be for that version.

Correct. There is no unlock for 5.12. The unlock is supposed to come after 4.0 drops.

I have stuck here 3G baseband was 5.12, i hope someday will be unlock, even apple release 4.0, they will still upgrade the basedband so there is no possible unlock on 4.0, unless or maybe you save your imei via shsh... then try unlock at 4.0? i hope so..
