Apple Official Unlock

After a lot of thought, and countless hours spend trying to unlock Baseband 5.12.01, I have come to the conclusion of calling apple.

I'm currently on centennial,
but the iPhone I have is out of contract by now,
So im gonna call it.

From what I know, They can take your IMEI number,
and give you an official perminate unlock.

And Since AT&T owns centennial,
I have even a better chance.

Anyone want to add to this to make my story for them more legit?

She just asked for my serial and IMEI and put me on hold while she does the unlock!

Ps.
Im running 3.1.3 Official so this is good news!

EDIT 2:

Apple is about to call me back with AT&T on the line about unlocking it.
Its looking good.

EDIT 3:

Apple in the USA,
can not unlock an iPhone under any circumstances at all,
Therefore,
the pictures online of official unlocked iPhones,
are fakes

EDIT 4:
I told apple whats up when they rejected the unlocking of my phone.
Keep in mind, I was on a three way call with an AT&T represenative, and an Apple rep.

I said

"Its okay, guys. I will just use third party applications online to unlock. Thanks anyway"

And it was silent for a moment.
And one of the guys said

I dont reccomend doing that because you could damage your phone.
