How do I tell if I am unlocked?
Sorry if this has been answered before but I have looked EVERYWHERE online and cannot find an answer.
I have been jailbroken for quite some time using blackra1n. I never bothered to unlock my phone since I am on AT&T, but this morning I decided to since I want to sell my phone to put the money towards the new iPhone when it drops.
I opened up the blackra1n app on my phone, checked off blacksn0w, and clicked install. It ran for a few moments and that was it.
The problem is that it never really told me that it worked? How do I know if the unlock took? I don't have someone that can give me another SIM card to check it. I don't want to advertise my phone and jailbroken AND unlocked if it isn't, and I really don't want to do a restore right now
Thanks in advance!
Up!

The only true test is to put a T-Mobile SIM card in there. If you have the 5.11.07 baseband and blacksn0w installed then you're phone is unlocked... there's not really anything mysterious about it.

Add "www.blackra1n.com" to your Cydia sources.. then install it from Cydia just to make sure.

It won't double install or mess anything up for any reason?

Thanks again!
I added it and when I go into the source it's blank?
Found it in another source and tried to install it and got a "hash sum mismatch"
Does that mean it was already there?Last edited by headcheese; 05-24-2010 at 09:54 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
