3.1.3 can be unkocked? Dont think so, unless your SSH files were saved from 3.1.2. Whats with the name calling? What are you 12yo, be nice.

There is no hardware unlock that you can do on your own.

This thread needs to be closed or a noob needs to be banned.
This topic has been covered multiple times. Youre not the only one who had been told to do some research before posting. You obviously didnt do enough research to realize there are no software or hardware unlocks for 5.12.01. Its all over these forums. It was just a warning for you to not repeat posts.
Your choice of words are also lacking in maturity and morality.

Actually there is a hardware unlock for bb 5.12.01. Just no software unlock at this moment.

Id rather wait than waste my money on that. I also dont trust sending my phone to random strangers.
Btw I said there is no hardware unlock that you can do by yourself

1) "Hardware Unlocks" that come in the form of sim piggyback tools are pointless. Seriously. They are very glitchy, often cause dropped calls and generally dont work with 3G Network Data.
2) Dont send your phone to anybody, the only other "Hardware Unlock" for the iPhone 3G is to use JTAG and every 10seconds send a command to the baseband to cancel out one of its refreshes, so unless you want to spend upwards of $1000/£1000 on some JTAG Kit and lug your Mac/PC around with you and have your phone constantly connected to them your out of luck.
3) Download fuzzyband from cydia (your on a 3G right?) and check your baseband version, if your lucky like me it will say 5.8 but that only applys to a small batch of early release phones. If it is 5.8 you can downgrade your Baseband and unlock.
4) Seriously, the flaming is annoying as hell. If you dont have somthing useful to say, dont say it at all.
Hope this helped!,

I usually just lurk because I'm not too knowledgeable about how jailbreaking and unlocking works and how to solve problems that may happen, but I felt I needed to reply to this sophomoric reply.
It's REALLY getting old seeing people use homophobic replies as insults. How old are you to use such comments? 5? 6? Be respectful to other people and grow up.

And you apparently dont have anything smart to say.
How do you expect help when 1) you were wrong to begin with and 2) you continue to be rude and childish?

Try to downgrade with Fuzzyband. You have a very slim hope of having one of the few 3G phones that are downgradeable. My spare phone happens to be one. Good luck!

To get this conversation back on topic...
I bought my 3G only a couple of months ago. I'm running 3.1.3 with firmware of 05.12.01 and bootloader of 6.4. Will it be possible to unlock my phone after 4.0 comes out next month? I would like to sell the phone on eBay for the most money I can get for it.
