iPhone 3G running 3.1.3 never unlocked or jailbroken

I need help unlocking and jailbreaking my iPhone 3g that is running on 3.1.3. I have a tmobile sim card and want to jailbreak my iPhone 3g. I have the 2g and I jailbroke that one before just fine but really would like to use the 3g I just bought. Please help!

hey there,

you pretty much cant unlock a 3g on 3.1.3 cause the official baseband that comes with that fw isn't unlockable and never will be (till 4.0 comes out)

that only little chance you might have is if you have bootloader version 5.08 or lower on your phone that you would be able to downgrade your baseband.

1. Option:

First: Jailbreak your iPhone with spirit (or whatever you feel like using)
Second: Download Fuzzyband through cydia
Third: Rund Fuzzyband: it will tell you if you can downgrade your bb or not


2. Option

Download "Forecast" (to computer) --> plug in your device --> Run forecast : It will tell you if you can unlock or not

Thanks but it didn't work. Do you know when the 4.0 will come out? I just bought this phone yesterday and I am so mad I can't even use it. I have t-mobile and I have the 2g right now and it is unlocked and jailbroken but it has a cracked screen.
