Iphone 3gs 3.1.2 HELP!

I have an Iphone 3gs 3.1.2 that has been jailbroken with Blackra1n and unlocked with Ultrasn0w with a Mac.
It has been working fine for months until yesterday. When it stopped working. I tried to use blackra1n on it, figured it just needed it again or something. The break ran, the boy with the Iphone pic popped up and then it went right back to the screen that means i need to plug into Itunes. I even deleted and reinstalled blackra1n. PLEASE HELP! I'm freaking out!

i would suggest that you update using pwnage tool or snowbreeze to 3.1.3... and then re-unlock with ultrasn0w

a restore/update mostly solves all the problems

make sure you update with a custom firmware (NOT THROUGH iTunes)

Ok..I really am not techy so I need everything spelled out for me. Im bervous to update to 3.1.3 because i might not be able to downgrade(?)
So frustrating!

if you update through pwnage or snowbreeze youre baseband wont be updated wo you will still be able to unlock.... check out the guides section of this forum

I dont think that snowbreeze will work. the forum i saw said not to use it if phone was previously JB with blackra1n. I couldnt find anything in the forums with pwnage for 3gs
