Unlocked but untetherd with Spirit
I have a friend that has a 3GS with new bootrom running 3.1.2 unlocked using blacksn0w.
Is there anyway he can remain unlocked and have an untethered jailbreak?If I helped please head on over and smash the Thanks button.

Thats supposed to be the deal with spirit. Untethered jailbreak. It doesnt mess with your baseband.

No he does not have 3.1.2 shsh blobs backed up. So he can't restore.
I was wondering could he, sn0wbreeze to 3.1.3 (preserving his baseband) then Spirit to jailbreak and then unlock with blacksn0w RC2?
