Europe Traves with my AT&T iPhone 3G

I'm going to Europe for the summer, and want to bring my iPhone 3G with me (3.1.2). I have jailbroken it with Blackra!n already, and am happily using it on AT&T.

My question is, if I simply use blackra!n's Sn0w to unlock for use with t-mobile/vodafone/O2 etc. Will I run into activation or carrier problems? Should I unlock before I go to Europe and try T-Mobile prepaid sim or something?

jap, if you unlock with ultrasn0w from cydia you schould be fine...

doesn't really matter when you do it, I mean you can already unlock it now and still use it with att till you leave to europe...
