iphone 3g, installed Openssh, now less ram available

Hi!

I have an iphone 3g, 16 gb, running 3.1.2. I installed openssh recently (through cydia) but since I have noticed that it has less ram memory available (I see the free memory available in the status bar, through the sbsettings option) and thus, the iphone runs slower. Actually I noticed it so I uninstalled it.

For example, when I have everything but the mail and phone app running, i have like 20+ ram available, when I used to have 35+ available. So I open safari and have a tab open, the memory is redued to 9.

I would like to know if that is a known behavior, if there is a known fix. Otherwise, would I have to restore to 3.1.3 and start all over again?

thats normal... ssh sucks down your battery life and ram... you can leave it installed on your device and toggle it through sbsettings

Thanx for the info. I've decided to uninstall... so it is now removed but i still see that my ram or performance havent improved. Is there any additional removals I should make, some dependencies?
