No Service with TMobile sim

I have a Jailbroken IPhone 3G with the 3.1.2 firmware, have I have ran BlackRa1n and snow turned the 3g off and every time I put my T mobile sim in the phone says No Service. I have restored and re installed the firmware, used a fresh copy of Blackra1n and the same issue over and over. My sim works in other IPhones just not mine..... My contract with Att is done on the 1st and need to figure this out quick any help is much appreciated

Sounds like youre not unlocked. Blackra1n jailbreaks. Now go into cydia, add the source blackra1n.com, then run balcksn0w. You should now be unlocked and your t-mobile sim should work.

edit: just saw that you did run sn0w. Black or ultra? Black for bb 5.11.07, ultra for bb 4.26. If you used the correct sn0w, the next step I would try would be to use blacksn0w rc2 final (if 5.11.07 bb). Add source cydia.pushfix.info/. Youll find it there. It is for baseband 5.11.07 only!
If that doesnt work, create or download custom firmware. Its possible the one youre using may be the problem.

Tried the blacksn0w rc2 and still the same issue. withe the t-mobile sim installed I have all the tm settings and config but no service

Okay, did you try new firmware?

I have not tried new firmware.... Unsure if I should reinstall the 3.1.2, or try and down downgrade. Do you have a link for trusted firmware, and a sugestion as to what I shoud do?

go to iphoneheat for firmware of the dev team's page.
Iphone's are a picky SOB. I have two Jb and unlocked the same way and one works perfectly while the other goes in and out even with a new antenna
