Iphone 3g bricked

I bought an iphone off craigslist and its version was 3.1. It was already jailbroken so i tried to unlock it by downloading ultrasnow. It didn't work so I restored it to 3.1.2 and now it's stuck at the 'connect to itunes' screen. I've tried using redsn0w to downgrade it to 3.0 but it won't work. Help!

Dude.. Did you even bother searching?

Is it Restore Mode or the activation screen. Do a fresh restore to 3.1.2 and run BlackRa1n

I did. And I don't know but i fixed it. And restoring to 3.1.2 didn't do anything. But I have question. Theres no way to downgrade bootloader to 5.08 right?
