Urgent help activate iphone 3g

Hey guys i need help activating my iphone 3g i tried dfu mode with custom firmware but i have no chance i keep on getting 1601 and 1602 errors i even uninstalled itunes and everything
downgraded itunes to 9.0 and also 8.0 and had no luck
i used iREB but i get nothing no white or red screen but it did get the 1602 error away but then i get 1601 error
need to activate without the at t sim card

3g will restore with factory firmware, and wont try to verify with apple. Try that, then if (when) you get no service, try restoring again with custom firmware.

never mind i got my custom firmware to install found a work around
