how 2 unlock 3GS stuck in Emergency mode?
Helllo everyone,
I have an iPhone 3 GS stuck in emergency mode so i don't know if it's 3.0 or 3.1, but i need to unlock it and need help - from jailbreak on..

Put an old verizon sims card in and that should get rid of the emergency. Hope this helps

that means ur 3gs is not activated. i had the same problem myself and i was able to fix it by inserting an old at&t sim card

Okay, but u see, these phones aren't mine.. And who they belong to bought them form Thailand--say... without the official sim/carrier. And want's to use them here in India. So there's no AT&T here.. Or any other carrier that concerns..

But they'r in emergency mode-?? will it be possible?

yes thats the sense of jailbreaking... your activating your phone without e "legal" carrier.. aka hacktivating

alright, but redsnow works for 3GS? Cos all download sites that i'm opening for redsnow say that it's NOT for the 3GS..

Only if you have the old bootrom, if you have a newer one, it will not work.

My bootrom is new - iBoot-359.3.2... that's what i'm told..

jailbreaking allows u to install 3rd party applications (non-apple), by doing so u can install an application that allows u to unlock the phone, so then your able to use a different sim.
