is there anyway to unlock my iphone?

i just bought an iphone 3g 8gb. bb 5.12.01, and 6.2 BL, firmware 3.1.3. i cant find a way to unlock it and i have t-mobile. is there anything that i can do to get it unlocked? even by downgrading the firmware? ill try any option as long as i can use this phone with t-mobile.

Not at the present time. 5.12.01 cannot be unlocked currently.

i actually tried to download blacksn0w anyways (i was desperate), and i got stuck at the apple boot logo and it forced me to restore :/ lol. i guess ill just have to use it as an ipod touch until the unlock comes out. thanks for the replies!
