Unlocking iphone 3G 3.1

Hey all,

I have a Jailbroken iPhone 3G, baseband 05.11.07 and I want to unlock it since I will be travelling to the UK from the US. In the past I have tried BlackRaIN but it did not work.

And I saw posts out there saying that BlackSn0w will work for this baseband but on Firmware 3.1.2. Does anyone know if it will work for 3.1 Firmware? I really did not want to upgrade to 3.1.2.

5.11.07 baseband, you have to use blacksn0w to unlock. Ultrasn0w will not work on this baseband.

Thanks for the tip, so this will work on 3.1 firmware or do I need to upgrade to the 3.1.2 firmware?

Should have no problem, but I would upgrade since a lot of apps wont work on the older firmware.
