How To Upgrade An iphone From 3.0.1 To 3.1.2 For 3G 8MB
Hi,
I am new to the forum and my request is How To Upgrade An iphone 3G 8GB From 3.0.1 To 3.1.2 firmware? I need to jailbreak and unlock the iphone afterwards. I need a step by step method. Your help is well appreciated.

Get urself a custom firmware that's 3.1.2 that doesn't have a baseband upgrade or does because they're both unlockable.
Then go to ih8sn0w.com and download ireb.
Use it to put ur 3g into dfu mode (white screen)
and then just shift restore
use ultrasn0w for 4.28
or blacksn0w for 5.11

5.11.07. No unlock for 5.12.01 yet..
