Need help with Iphone 3g

I have bought an iphone 3g through ebay and i live in Greece.So i tried to make it accept my carrier but it didnt.Now i think i have 3.1.3 and my baseband is ICE2-05.12.01.How can i unlock it?I need it as a phone so if i can get to older firmware but unlocked please tell me the way.Thanks.

No way to unlock 5.12.01 yet. Have to wait a little longer. Sorry.
