    Default Unlocking iPhone 3G (Bootloader: 05.09 Baseband 05.12.01)

    Is there anyway to unlock this?

    Can I downgrade and unlock it? if so how..

    Sorry, im a total nub when it comes to this.. My friend wants to use my iphone with his service, he doesnt care what OS is on it, just needs to be able to take his sim..

    unfortunetly there is no way to unlock it.. i've the same problem.. i've just bought iPhone 3G 16GB with BL:5.09/ 5.12.01 and 3.1.2 fw..

    unluck for us because of BL.. if we had 5.08 there would be a BB downgrade way..

    i'm still waiting too..
