I have a Iphone 3gs that I successfully jailbroke once, lasted a few months then phone froze on apple logo. had to do a system restore which erased jailbrake, and updated software.
is there anyway to jailbreak again?
Serial # 88939
Baseband: 05.12.01
BootLoader: 6.4
Model # MB718LL
Version 3.1.3(7E18)
Modem Firmware: 05.12.01
Really dont care about using different carriers just want cydia or something similar to customize phone.
You would either have to create or download custom firmware. Either 3.1.3 or 3.1.2 will work. When you create or download these, you have the option to have it already jailbroken when the restore is complete.
I also have the same problem. I jailbroke 3 months back and changed the carrier. It was a tethered jailbreak due to new bootrom. I had to restore it as the iphone kept restarting when did a reset network settings. My baseband is Baseband: 05.12.01 and version is Version 3.1.3(7E18).
Please help.. !! I downloaded 3.1.2 and tried restoring, but it didnt work.It said, This device isn't eligible. Is there any way out ?
Yes you can jailbreak. If youre on 3.1.2, use Blackra1n. If youre on 3.1.3, either downgrade to 3.1.2, or use Redsn0w 0.9.4 to create custom jailbroken firmware.
Sorry, No unlock for 5.12.01 bb. At least not yet.
