Will Apple Store set Phone back ?

I have here a friends 3g wich he upgraded too 3.1.3 and its on new baseband soo he is doomed as of now like we all know ....

Would an Applestore take care of it I mean putting it back on 3.1.2 ...worth a try or no GO what you guys think ?

They only have iTunes in the store. They wouldn't do it anyways

The Apple store will only restore it to the newest firmware

They had a notice posted in the one I went to about unlocking. It said they can upgrade the phone at time of service, and it would disable any unauthorized modifications..

They can swap it if it has a legit issue. My buddy did it with his 3GS when he restored to 3.1.3, but they gave him another 3.1.3 so hes screwed until the new unlock.

i got my 3g unlocked by apple but i had to get it done by getting in contact with unlockiphoneuk it cost me £30 but was worth it so all i need to do is jailbreak it 3.1.3

Hi m8,

I've looked at "unlockiphoneuk" and wondered if they were legit or not.

It would be a big help to at least me if you could expand on what you did to get your 3g unlocked and most importantly provide links to the websites you used.

My 3g is jailbroken with redsnow but it is locked.

How did apple help to unlock your iphone?

Any of the above would be a big help.

Buddy dint try any of the iPhone unlock site that is paid. If u can jailbreak or unlock it'll be free
