so theres no way of activation without og sim?

i found a i phone here in austraila and its a att one has no sim but still was in ipod touch style i jailbroke it but couldent unlock coz my internet net was down i got it reconnected and opend black rain to unlock it but it wouldnt come up with the apps so i erased the icon and rejail broike it to start again but the black rain icone did not appear

not nowing i resored the phone and now need the ogiginal sim to activate now living in australia there is no att what can i do is there a program or over wight fuction to get to ipod touch state back
